2014-2015
Pi Day
Pi Day was a camp for Boy Scouts. At this camp, a few of our team members presented our robot to the Scouts. The kids had a fun time watching the robot drive around and examine it.
We hope we inspired many to get involved in robotics, and eventually join FTC!
Fox Valley Regional Qualifier
The Fox Valley Regional Qualifier was held at Hortonville High School on January 17, 2015. Our team hosted this tournament, and it was a great success thanks to our hard-working volunteers! Our team also aided in hardware and software inspection, field management, and general team assistance.
We hope all the teams had a great time at our regional. Congratulations to the teams that won awards and made it to the Wisconsin State Championship. Good luck in future competitions this year and in the years to come!

Annual FLL Scrimmage
Greenville Middle School, from the Hortonville Area School District, hosted an FLL scrimmage. We had the opportunity to judge the teams in Teamwork, Robot Design, and Project areas.
The teams brought their projects, robots, and their great attitudes! We started off the night with presentation, design, and teamwork judging. After judging each team individually, we started the robot games that were essentially a mock FLL competition.
7 teams got to practice everything they prepared and put hard work into. They also got feedback from our team on what to improve. We had a great time helping out our little apprentices!
Annual FLL Camp
At the 2014-2015 First Lego League Camp, the teams were given a standard NXT lego kit to take a hit at creating their own robot and getting the feel for FLL. They had two afternoons to complete as much as they could.
The teams were told to make a team poster and to create a robot design that would work best with the 'field competition' that our team designed before the camp.
To make this camp as much as an FLL competition, we created some other stations, such as; teamwork where we designed different tasks for the teams to work out--just like the teamwork challenges at FLL competitions. The teams at this camp got a real experience of what FLL would be like this coming season. In fact 9 FLL teams were created from this camp! Overall, the kids had an awesome time!
