Sarah Nowotny, Grade 11
Mechanical Team
I am a Junior at Hortonville High School.   This is my 9th year in FIRST, with 5 years previous involvement in FLL. I also volunteer for FLL Junior,  FLL and FTC events as Referee, Judge Assistant and FLL Junior Judge.  I am the Mechanical Lead for Hortonville Robotics this year.  I am really enjoying the build process for the robot this year.  I plan to study Biomedical Engineering.   Outside of robotics, I am a member of Band, Ukulele Band, and DECA.  My hobbies include cooking, dance, sewing, Tae Kwon Do,  Girl Scouts, and Scouts BSA.

I am a Freshman at Hortonville High School. This is my first time doing something like Robotics so this is my first year and I like it so far. Things I like to do in my spare time are play video games and/or watch youtube. I also enjoy sports, like basketball and baseball. 
Diego Vera, Grade 9

​I am a freshman at Hortonville Highschool. This is my first year in FTC,. I spent one year in FLL before this and I am eager to continue this path. I believe that teamwork is essential and with cooperation and inclusion, we can better our lives. I love building prototypes of wild ideas and making them work. I am on the high school soccer team. I love playing video games and spreading the word about climate change.
