2019-2020 Events-FIRST Rise Season

  • Fox Valley Regional Qualifier
    • On January 11th, our team will be hosting the Fox Valley Regional Qualifier again! We have been hosting this event for multiple years and it is always a success! Wisconsin FTC teams are welcome to compete, and everyone is welcome to watch the matches and experience a competition.
  • FLL Scrimmage
    • ​Hortonville Robotics hosted an FLL Scrimmage for kids involved in the FLL Program. This scrimmage was held on October 20th from 2:00pm to 7:30pm, at Greenville Middle School. This camp helps prepare the kids for their upcoming competition. We have all aspects of their FLL Competions including, but not limited to: Robot Games, Presentation Judging, Robot Judging, Program Judging, and Teamwork Challenges. Please contact grace@hortonville if you have an interest in attending this scrimmage.
  • Appleton Public Library
    • On September 14th, our team went to the Appleton Public Library and showed off a demo robot. It was a great opportunity for kids and parents both to see what robotics is and how they can get involved. 
  • FTC Kickoff
    • On September 7th at MSOE, the FTC game challenge was released. We got to learn about our challenge and see the game field for the first time this season. 
  • ​​FLL Camp
    • Hortonville Robotics hosted a camp for kids interested in FLL on August 19th and 20th from 2:00 pm-7:30 pm. It showed the interested kids how to program, build, and develop solutions to given problems. Please contact [email protected] if you are interested in attending.
